Melissa Hendry brings over 22 years’ experience helping technology and digital businesses grow from early-stage teams into established multi-million-pound operations
As co-founder of software development agency ddroidd, and AI-driven energy management SaaS Yellowgrid Internation, She has worked across software engineering consultancies, SaaS platforms, telecommunications infrastructure and regulated technology environments, building and leading international teams and designing operating models that support sustainable scale.
As COO and Operations Director, Melissa has led organisations through rapid growth, restructuring and acquisition, funding rounds and exits, scaling several businesses from founding to £10m+ revenue and assisting in building multi-country teams of more than 160 people.
Recognised by Computer weekly, as a Most Influential Women in UK Tech: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, her work focuses on connecting strategy with day-to-day execution, strengthening financial oversight, delivery performance, leadership alignment and operational clarity. Melissa has operated at board level with full P&L responsibility, supporting founders and investors through growth, funding rounds and organisational change.
She combines commercial discipline with a practical, people-focused approach, working closely with founders and leadership teams to build businesses that grow with structure, visibility and strong culture.
